This notice explains what personal data Sofely.io, S.C. collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is issued under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). A Spanish version is available at
1. Who is responsible for your data
Sofely.io, S.C. (“Sofely”, “we”) is the data controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Questions about this notice, or about how we handle your data, go to info@sofely.io.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you type into the contact form on this site:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company name, if you choose to provide it
- The service category you select
- The message you write
We also record the date and time of the submission, and we process the originating IP address transiently in order to rate-limit the form against automated abuse. That address is not stored alongside your enquiry.
We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined by the LFPDPPP, and we ask that you do not include any in your message.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts, and it loads no resources from third-party servers. Nothing about your visit is recorded unless you choose to submit the contact form.
If that changes, this notice will be updated first and, where the law requires it, your express consent will be requested before any tracking technology is enabled.
4. Why we process it, and on what basis
Your data is processed for one primary purpose: to read, evaluate, and respond to your enquiry, including any follow-up correspondence about the engagement you asked about. This purpose is necessary to the relationship you initiated by contacting us, and it does not require your separate consent.
We do not use your data for any secondary purpose. Specifically, we do not add you to marketing lists, we do not profile you, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
5. Who else sees it
Your enquiry is handled by Sofely personnel involved in responding to it. Depending on our configuration, submissions may be delivered to a business communication or CRM tool acting as our processor, under an obligation to process the data only on our instructions.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes. We disclose data to authorities only where legally compelled.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business conversation, and are deleted when they no longer serve that purpose. You may ask us to delete yours sooner — see below.
7. Your ARCO rights
Under the LFPDPPP you have the right to Access the personal data we hold about you, to Rectify it when it is inaccurate or incomplete, to Cancel it (request its deletion), and to Oppose its processing where you have legitimate cause. You may also withdraw any consent you have given.
To exercise any of these, write to info@sofely.io stating which right you wish to exercise and including enough information for us to identify you and locate your data. We will respond within 20 business days, and where a request is granted we will act on it within a further 15 business days.
Exercising these rights is free. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may bring the matter before the competent Mexican data protection authority.
8. How we limit use and disclosure
Beyond the ARCO rights above, you may ask us at any time to limit the use or disclosure of your data by writing to info@sofely.io. Because we run no marketing programmes, the practical effect is usually deletion, which we will confirm to you.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the contact form validates and rate limits submissions. Access to stored enquiries is restricted to personnel who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited and non-sensitive nature of the data involved.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices or the law change. The current version always lives at this URL and carries the date it took effect. Material changes — in particular any that introduce a new purpose or any tracking technology — will be made prominent on this page before they take effect.
